Lotus Management ("we", "us"), the practice of Karen Whipple, offers financial education and insurance services from 3805 Crestwood Parkway, #500, Duluth, Georgia 30096. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number if you add it, how you prefer to be contacted, and your message. When you book a call through our scheduling page, the scheduling service collects the details it needs to hold the appointment.
- Texting consent. If you tick the texting box on the contact form, we record that you agreed to receive text messages from us about your inquiry and appointments, along with the number you gave and the time you agreed.
- Technical information. Like every website, ours receives the ordinary information a browser sends: your IP address, browser type, the pages you open and when. Our hosting provider keeps these request logs for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
- The free calculators. The figures you type into our calculators are worked out in your browser and are not sent to us.
How we use it
- To reply to your message in the way you asked, to hold and remind you of appointments, and to send the text messages you agreed to.
- To keep the website secure and working, and to understand which pages are useful.
- To meet our legal and licensing obligations, including keeping records that insurance and financial regulations require.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
- Karen Whipple, the licensed professional who runs Lotus Management and handles every inquiry.
- Service providers that help us run the practice: website hosting, the contact and scheduling system that stores your messages and appointments, and the messaging service that delivers texts. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
- Insurance carriers and other financial companies, only when you ask us to help with a product and only as needed for that purpose.
- Authorities and regulators when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, Karen or others.
Text messages
Texting is optional and is never required to contact us or to work with us. Message frequency varies with your inquiry and appointments. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile number and your consent are not shared with third parties for their marketing.

How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer you, to serve you if you become a client, and to meet record-keeping rules that apply to insurance and financial services. When it is no longer needed we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
- Residents of some states have additional rights under their state's privacy law, which may include the right to know, to delete and to correct. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in state privacy laws, and we do not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
- You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and of emails by replying to tell us so.
How we protect it
Our website is served over encrypted connections, and the systems that store your messages and appointments limit access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable care.
Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
